1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SuppFiles. They apply every time you visit the Site, read an article, subscribe to our newsletter, submit a comment, or contact us. They work together with our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, both of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for people aged 18 or older. By using it, you represent that you are at least 18, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you are not barred from using the Site under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Changes to the Terms and the Site
We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Where changes are material, we will post a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms take effect means you accept them. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site — including individual articles, reviews, or features — at any time and without notice or liability.
4. Permitted use of the Site
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Site for your own non-commercial, informational use. You may:
- Read, print, or save individual pages for your personal reference.
- Share links to our articles on social media, in newsletters, or in forums.
- Quote short excerpts, provided you attribute them to SuppFiles and link to the original page.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Republish, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
- Copy or scrape the Site using bots, crawlers, spiders, or any automated means, or use its content to train machine learning or AI models, except that ordinary search engine indexing is permitted.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system, or probe, scan, or test its vulnerabilities.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code, or interfere with the Site's normal operation or overload its infrastructure.
- Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, deceptive, or that infringes anyone's rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Use the Site to send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited commercial messages.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including articles, reviews, buying guides, rankings, scoring methodologies, text, graphics, page layouts, photographs, illustrations, logos, and the compilation of all of it — is owned by SuppFiles or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"SuppFiles" and our logo are our trademarks. Product names, brand names, and logos belonging to third parties are the property of their respective owners and appear on the Site for identification purposes only, under nominative fair use, without implying affiliation or endorsement.
7. Your content and submissions
If you post a comment, submit a product experience, send us feedback, or otherwise provide material to the Site ("User Content"), you retain ownership of it. You grant SuppFiles a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display that User Content on the Site and in related promotional material.
You represent that your User Content is your own, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law. Do not submit confidential information or personal health details you would not want published. We are not obliged to publish, monitor, or retain User Content, and we may edit, refuse, or remove any submission at our sole discretion without notice or explanation.
Any ideas or suggestions you send us may be used freely and without compensation or obligation to you.
8. Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails containing reviews, product roundups, and Site updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We handle your email address in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or rent subscriber lists.
You also agree that we may communicate with you electronically and that electronic notices satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
9. Third-party links, retailers, and affiliates
The Site links to third-party websites, including online retailers and brand pages. We do not own, operate, or control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, pricing, security, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
SuppFiles is not a seller. We do not sell, ship, or fulfil any product reviewed on the Site. Any purchase you make is a transaction solely between you and the third-party merchant, governed by that merchant's own terms, warranties, returns, and refund policies. Some links may be affiliate links from which we earn a commission at no extra cost to you; see our affiliate disclosure. We are not a party to, and accept no liability for, any dispute arising from such a purchase.
10. No professional or medical advice
The Site publishes general information about dietary supplements and consumer products. It is not medical, nutritional, legal, or financial advice, and using the Site does not create any professional relationship between you and SuppFiles. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any supplement or health regimen. Full details are in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all of its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuppFiles disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components; or that any content, rating, or recommendation is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuppFiles and its owners, officers, editors, writers, contributors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Site or any content on it, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This includes, without limitation, any harm, adverse reaction, injury, or loss connected to a product you learned about through the Site or purchased from a third-party retailer.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SuppFiles and its owners, editors, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or connected with your use of the Site, your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at the address in Section 18, including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL of the material you claim is infringing, in enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and may remove the material and terminate access for repeat infringers. If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.
15. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. Sections 6, 7, and 11 through 17 survive any termination.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Informal resolution first. If you have a concern, please contact us before starting formal proceedings. Most issues can be resolved quickly by email, and we ask that you give us 30 days to respond.
Venue. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and SuppFiles agree that it shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for infringement of intellectual property rights in any appropriate court, or from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court.
Any claim relating to the Site must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law allows such a limit.
17. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and SuppFiles regarding the Site and supersede any prior understanding.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for anyone other than you and SuppFiles.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
